Cristián is an assistant professor in the Centro de Investigación Económica and the Department of Economics at ITAM. His fields of specialization are public economics and industrial organization. Cristián's research includes studies of education markets, and the incidence of voucher programs on students and schools. He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Maryland.
